Golden Horizon - Steppe Nomades of the Ukraine
Since the 2nd millenium B.C. nomadic people populated the Eurasian steppes. In this exhibtions, realized in collaboration with the Ukrainian Ministry, sensational objects of 9 different nomadic tribes, who lived in the northern area of the black sea, are on display. The 500 exhibits come from different Ukrainian Museums and collections. The exhibits are testimonials of the following nomadic tribes: Catacomb Culture, Cimmerians, Scyths, Sarmats, Huns, Avars, Chazars, Pecenegs and Polovtsians and show the general features of nomadism.
