Giants of the Ice Age
With over 100 loans the exhibition is one of the biggest exhibitions about the Ice Age of the last Years. Two of the best preserved babies of mammoths, Dima and Lyuba are displayed. Other representatives of the Ice-Age fauna like the Saber-Tooth Cat, the Whooly Rhino et al. are also exhibited. The exhibition shows the first traces of humankind like the unique paintings of ancient European cave painters. Tools and weapons of ancient humans are also on display. The exhibition is a collaboration project between the Neanderthal Museum (Germany), different European Museums and expona.
